A new 12-page sports supplement called Full Time will be available in the Monday edition of the Limerick Leader, beginning this week.

And what a week to start it. It’s a bumper weekend of sport in Limerick with Munster taking on Leinster in Thomond Park on Saturday, the Limerick SHC final between Na Piarsaigh and Adare down for decision on Sunday, a full round of games in the All Ireland rugby league, a busy schedule on the local junior soccer scene and, of course, the prestigious international junior soccer tournament taking place in the city on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We’ll have reports and photos from all those events.

We’ll also have something from a bit further back as we continue to dig deep into our archives to find some brilliant old photographs from the Limerick sports scene from the 1970s and 1980s.

And if that’s not enough we’ll continue our sports coverage throughout the week in the Limerick Chronicle on Tuesday, the Limerick Leader on Wednesday and our city. county and west editions which are in the shops on Thursday.

On top of that, our website is updated right throughout the week with additional material that doesn’t make our print editions along with instant reports on the biggest sports events. We’ll have an online report of the Munster match on Saturday evening, the hurling final on Sunday and on Monday we’ll have picture slideshows from those two big sports events.
