AN unchanged Limerick minor football team has been selected for Wednesday’s Munster MFC play-off with Waterford.

After last week’s defeat to Cork, Limerick embark on their journey through the backdoor when they entertain Waterford in Newcastle West in a game that has a 7.00 start.

A win in the game would give them quarter-final clash away to Clare on April 29 with the prize a semi-final meeting with the winner of Tipperary.

In the other side of the draw, Cork play Kerry in the second semi final.

Limerick minor manager is Jerry O’Sullivan - he has selectors Paddy Ivess, Sean Holmes and Milo McMahon.

In this Wednesday’s game Limerick are looking to end a run of 10 successive defeats in the Munster minor football championship.

Limerick’s last victory was in round one in 2010 when the Shannonsiders were 3-10 to 2-4 winners over Waterford in Kilmallock.
