MUNSTER have made 12 changes for their side to take on the Scarlets in the RaboDirect PRO 12 in Musgrave Park at 7.15pm on Saturday night.
Gerhard van den Heever will make his home debut and Duncan Casey will start his first competitive Munster game awhile Tommy O’Donnell, CJ Stander, Denis Hurley, JJ Hanrahan, Ian Nagle and Billy Holland, who will captain the side, are among the changes from the side that beat Perpignan last weekend.
Indeed BJ Botha, Cathal Sheridan and Casey Laulala are the only ones to hold on to their places from the side that started against Perpigan in the Stade Aime Giral.
Dave Kilcoyne also comes back into the side, as does Dave O’Callaghan while Ivan Dineen, Andrew Conway are named on the backline.
Veteran Donncha O’Callaghan is the most experienced player on the bench where he joins Damien Varley, Alan Cotter, John Ryan, Barry O’Mahony, Duncan Williams, Johnny Holland and Ronan O’Mahony. Cotter and Holland are in line for their first Munster senior appearance.
