An Adrian Power hat-trick sent Moyross into the last 32 of the FAI Junior Cup on Saturday as they beat Clondalkin 3-0 in Dublin.
Power scored all three of his goals in the opening half as Moyross claimed the only Limerick win in the competition over the weekend.
Pike Rovers were beaten 2-1 by Wexford side North End Utd while Regional Utd went down 2-0 after extra time at home to Dublin’s River Valley Rangers.
In the Munster Junior Cup, Janesboro were 3-1 winners over Aisling Annacotty thanks to two goals from Shane Clarke and one from Eddie Brazier. Eoin Roche got the Aisling goal.
In the Kilmurry Lodge Premier League, Carew Park went joint top with a 2-1 win over Geraldines. A Gary Griffin penalty had Carew 1-0 up at the break but Geraldines equalised early in the second half when Paul Danagher headed home.
A share of the spoils looked the likeliest outcome but Carew Park sub Darren O’Sullivan was to be the hero, firing home the winner with ten minutes remaining.
Fairview Rangers fought back from a goal down to take all three points in their game at Corbally Utd. Gerry O’Connell gave Corbally a half-time lead but Eddie Byrnes scored a penalty to restore parity after the restart. Two goals from Jamie Shinnors decided the tie in favour of the visitors.
In the other Premier Division game Ballynanty Rovers returned to winning ways following a 4-2 victory over Knockainey at the county venue on Sunday.
Dermot Walsh put the home side ahead but a three goal flurry from Eddie Radcliffe, Jamie Daly and Alex Purcell saw Balla well in control by the break.
Nigel Finch reduced the deficit but Balla had the final say when Derek Daly scored a fourth.
