THE Munster Council have confirmed new dates for both Harty Cup quarter-finals, which were postponed this Wednesday due to the inclement weather conditions.

Champions Ardscoil Ris will play Hamilton High School of Bandon in Mallow next Monday January 19 at 1.30.

Castletroy face Youghal next Wednesday January 21 at 1.30pm in Cahir.

Ardscoil Ris are attempting to retain the title just like they did in 2011. This season is their ninth successive year reaching the knockout stages and they are attempting to reach the semi-finals for the eighth year in a row.

The clash of Ardscoil and Bandon, will be a repeat of last season’s semi-final, which the Limerick side won, 2-14 to 1-4.

Meanwhile, Castletroy, in their fourth season back in the Munster Post Primary Schools senior A hurling championship, are chasing a first semi-final. They were beaten quarter-finalists in 2012 (Ardscoil Ris) and 2013 (Thurles).
