PROMOTION-CHASING Limerick FC have confirmed that Jeffrey Judge has re-joined the club.

Judge’s return to the Blues is a timely boost for manager Pat Scully ahead of Friday night’s crunch Airtricity League First Division tie with Wexford Youths at Jackman Park (7.45pm).

Second-placed Limerick drew within a point of table toppers Longford Town thansk to their impressive away over over the Midlandes prior to the League’s mid-season break. Wexford are fifth in the table.

Manager Scully admitted Limerick needed to push on from their win over Longford which came as a major boost to their promotion hopes.

Scully said: “We played really well to get a deserved win away to Longford Town before the break to go a point off top.

“We now have to continue our good form into the restart of the league against a good Wexford Youths side. We know nothing short of a professional performance will suffice.”
