Draw not enough for Limerick who exit Munster Ladies Football Championship
Laoise Browne scored a late goal to secure a draw for Limerick in the Munster LGFA Championship
LIMERICK are out of the Munster LGFA Senior 'B' Championship, despite a dramatic finish saw them earn a share of the spoils against Cork.
Laoise Browne scored a late goal to secure a draw - but it's not enough as, for the first time in the competition's short history, Limerick failed to reach the final.
Instead, it is Clare who will face the Leesiders in Sunday's final at Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale. The match will be a double header with the 'A' final between Kerry and Waterford.
Holly Quirke (penalty) and Amanda O’Sullivan got the Cork goal's but a determined effort from John Lynch's Limerick ensured it finished honours even in Ballyhahill.
