Despite the scoreline, Newtown battled well throughout and were unfortunate to lose their goalkeeper to injury — everyone at Aisling Annacotty wishes her a speedy recovery.
This victory marked a third trophy of the season for Annacotty, with the chance of adding a fourth still to come. The consistency and commitment of the players, along with the tireless work of coaches Ray, Leanne and Bridge, have been key to their success.
