FAIRVIEW Rangers qualified for the final of the Lawson Cup final with an easier than expected 3-0 win over Aisling Annacotty on Thursday evening.
Oleg Vysochan delivered a free kick for Jeffery Judge to head in an early goal and the Blues doubled their lead before the break when Gbadebo Habideen showed good control to fire home.

Pike Rvs kept their slim hopes of pipping Fairview for thew title when they picked up the points on offer in their game at Hyde Rgs.
The only goal of the game came just before the break when Conail Stapleton’s whipped in cross was knocked into the Hyde net by a defender attempting to clear.

In Division 1B Herbertstown were crowned champions when they beat
Mungret Reg 3-2, thanks to scores from Tyrique Leamy and a Mike Bob Ryan double. It follows ‘Town’s success in the Munster Shield final last weekend.
Shelbourne secured second spot thanks to a 5-1 win over Nenagh B making it back-to-back promotions. Brian Fitzgerald, Colm Cassidy, Rory Cullen, Andrew Egan and Daniel Collins scored for Shels.
It’s as you were in Division 2A with Balla B and Kilmallock locked together at the top of the table. Ballynanty Rvs B beat Castle Rvs 3-0 with scores from Ken Meehan, Neil Wallace and Dara McNamara.
Kilmallock B beat Coonagh Utd B 8-4. Sean Maguire bagged a hat trick, John Paul Houlihan, Richie Carey, Dave Todd, Paudie Sheedy and John Heffernan scored the winning goals. Ger Hodkinson, Colin Browne, James Hodkinson and Rory Barry replied for Coonagh.
Fairview Rgs C secured the Division 3A crown after they beat Castle Utd 3-1. Cian Donnelly, Anthony McNamara and Kyle Brogan were the champion’s scorers.
