Items from a former busy Limerick nightclub to be auctioned off
BAR FURNITURE and much more will be auctioned off from what was once one of County Limerick’s busiest nightclubs.
Fireworks which was located in Newcastle West has officially closed down and according to Declan Woulfe of DNG who are running the auction this is a “sign of the times”.
“There aren’t many nightclubs left in the whole county and city. It’s a shame.
“Covid appears to have been the final nail in the coffin for a lot of these premises,” Mr Woulfe said.
Some of the items up for auction include bar lighting, speakers, a mixing desk, furniture, glassware, glasswashers and a fruit dehydrator.
The auction will take place at Fireworks Bar Lounge and Nightclub this Friday at 11am.
Viewing of the contents up for auction will take place from 10am on the day.
