MORE than €3,000 has been raised to date for Limerick Mental Health Association following a fundraising event which saw staff from PBC Builders and the Limerick Leader abseil off the side the Thomond Park.
The event, which has been hailed as a great success, was followed by a presentation by guest speaker Rory O’Connor from Rory's Stories who shared some of his personal experiences with mental health.
"We are grateful for the generous donations we received from the public towards our cause. Donations can still be made online. We believe that investing in mental health is an investment in our community’s future. By hosting this event, we hoped to promote mental health awareness and provide resources to those who may need it," said a spokesperson for PBC builders.
"We are proud to have been a part of this event and we hope that it helped our community build stronger foundations for mental health and wellness. Thank you to everyone who supported us in this important cause," they added.
