Limerick's fixture details for 2026 Munster senior hurling and footall championship confirmed

THE fixture details have been confirmed for Limerick's games in the 2026 Munster senior hurling and senior football championships.

Limerick senior hurlers, who have a bye in the opening round of provincial fixtures, will open their rouns robin campaign with a meeting against reigning Munster champions Cork at SuperValu Pairc Ui Chaoimh on Sunday, Aperil 26 at 4pm.

John Kiely's Limerick side, who reached the Munster final last year before losing out to the Rebels in a dramatic penalty shoot-out at the TUS Gaelic Grounds, will then travel to Ennis a week later to face Clare at Zimmer Biomet Cusack Park on Sunday, May 3 at 2pm.

Limerick continue their round robin fixtures with a home game against Waterford at the TUS Gaelic Grounds on Sunday, May 17 at 3pm.

The Shannonsiders will complete their group fixtures against Tipperary at the TUS Gaelic Grounds on Sunday, May 24 at 4pm.

The 2026 Munster senior hurling final is scheduled to take place on Sunday, June 7 at 2pm.

Meanwhile, in the Munster senior football championship, Limerick will travel to Leeside to face Cork on Sunday, April 12 for a quarter-final tie at 2pm.

The winners of that game will face Tipperary or Waterford in the Munster football semi-finals on Saturday, April 25 at 2pm.

The Munster senior football final is set to take place on Sunday, May 10 at 1.45pm.
