
LIMERICK GAA’s financial statement for 2025 shows a surplus of over €600,000 despite expenditure on inter-county teams exceeding €2million.
In a year when the flagship Limerick senior hurling didn’t progress beyond the All-Ireland SHC quarter-final stage, team administration expenses increased by €208,643 to €2,196,074 from the 2024 figure of €1,987,431. The Limerick senior footballers did have an extended season in the Tailteann Cup and Allianz League.

In the report of treasurer Sean Burke to be presented to Limerick GAA’s Annual Convention on Tuesday night in Ahane GAA clubhouse, it shows total expenditure during the year amounted to €4,169,290 - up from the 2024 figure of €3,776,885.
The main categories of expenditure are match day costs, team administration, upkeep of grounds, coaching and games, administration costs, financial expenses and grants and promotional expenses.
Coaching and games expenses and match day costs increased by €63,342 and €128,424 respectively.
The Limerick GAA income also increased in 2025 - up from €4,369,256 to €4,835,011 and that is despite last year’s figure including a windfall of €451,925 from the Win A House fundraiser.
Across 2025, there were increases in the revenue from the gates receipts, rental income and the Club Development Draw.
The bottom line of the accounts shows a surplus of €665,721 - an increase from the 2204 surplus of €592,371.
