LIMERICK senior hurler Adam English, a UL Sports Scholar, graduated from the University of Limerick this week with a BSc in Technology Management.
During his time at UL, Adam balanced his studies with excelling on the hurling field, making a major impact as a midfielder for Limerick. He was part of UL’s Fitzgibbon Cup winning team earlier this year and was also named on the Electric Ireland Third Level Rising Stars Team of the Year. Adam is now continuing his studies at UL with a Masters in Project Management. English will part of the University of Limerick Fitzgibbon Cup team again this year.
He joined one of over 3,600 students being conferred as part of the university’s Autumn ceremonies this week.
The UL student enjoyed a standout 2025 season with the Limerick senior hurlers, firmly establishing himself as a regular in the starting XV.
English has impressed throughout the Limerick senior hurling championship for Doon. He has scored 1-28 across three games for the east Limerick side. He will be back in action for Doon this evening against Ballybrown in round four of the Limerick SHC in Kilmallock at 6:15pm.
