DOON and Na Piarsaigh meet this Saturday in a repeat of last year's county final in the opening round of the Limerick senior hurling championship.
The round one of the Limerick SHC clash orginally fixed for the TUS Gaelic Grounds has now been moved to Kilmallock. The action gets underway on Saturday evening at 7pm in the south Limerick venue.
Waterford native Derek McGrath is into his second year in charge of the Doon senior hurling team. The east Limerick club won their first Limerick senior hurling championship title in 2024.

Na Piarsaigh senior hurling manager Shane O'Neill has made some changes to his backroom team this year.
Former Na Piarsaigh senior football manager Micheal Lynch and Thomas Downes brother of Kevin Downes have been added to O'Neill's backrooom team.
Na Piarsaigh and Doon will face Kilmallock, Patrickswell, Ahane and Ballybrown in group one of the senior hurling championship.
