LIMERICK hurling star Tom Morrissey is seeking to be reunited with his hurley ahead of the Munster Senior Hurling Championship Final.

The Limerick and Ahane hero was seperated from his hurley after the final whistle of Sunday's Shannonside derby in the final round of the provincial competition at the TUS Gaelic Grounds.

John Kiely's side suffered a 3-20 to 0-24 loss to Clare on Sunday but regardless advance to a Saturday, June 7 provincial decider against Cork.

Luke Liddy of Live95 is reporting that Morrissey is looking for his hurley to be returned.

Morrissey was Limerick's top scorer in the clash with Clare - notching seven points, including five frees. 

With the countdown to the Munster final well underway, Morrissey is hoping that anyone with information about his hurley can help ensure its return for the decider against Cork.

Wing forward Morrissey has scored 16-points for Limerick enroute to the June 7 Munster final.
