LIMERICK'S Brian Ryan and Charlie McCarthy were part of the Na Fianna senior hurling team that won the All-Ireland senior hurling club title yesterday afternoon.

Former Limerick hurler Brian Ryan played a crucial role in his side's victory scoring 0-3. Charlie McCarthy was part of the extended Na Fianna panel.

Meanwhile, Limerick native Eoin Roche was the coach of the Na Fianna senior hurling team. Roche is a native of Foynes and he previously lined out with St Senan's. He has previously been involved with Dublin minor and U21 teams and with the DCU Fitzgibbon Cup teams.

Na Fianna defeated Sarsfields 2-23 to 0-20 in Croke Park on Sunday afternoon. Two goals from corner forward Tom Brennan sent the North Dublin club on their way to a comfortable victory.

Brian Ryan transfered from Limerick club South Liberties to Dublin club Na Fianna in 2023. The Na Fianna midfielder is set to play inter-county hurling for the first time in four years. Niall Ó Ceallacháin has called Ryan into the Dublin senior hurling panel. The Na Fianna manager Niall Ó Ceallacháin will take charge of the Dublin senior hurlers for 2025.

Brian Ryan was previously part of the Limerick senior hurling panel where he received gametime during the National League campaigns in 2020 and 2021. In 2020, Ryan was part of the extended Limerick senior hurling panel that went onto to win the All-Ireland title.

Former Adare clubman Charlie McCarthy is a Harty Cup winner with Ardscoil Ris, McCarthy has enjoyed Limerick Senior Football Championship success with Adare in recent times before his move to Dublin.
