ALL-Ireland winning Limerick hurler Brian Ryan is in action for Na Fianna this Sunday against Clough Ballacolla at 3pm in Parnell Park. Ryan transferred from South Liberties to Na Fianna in 2023.

The former Limerick hurler  was previously part of the Limerick senior hurling panel where he received gametime during the National League campaigns in 2020 and 2021. In 2020, Brian Ryan was part of the extended Limerick senior hurling panel that went onto to win the All-Ireland title.

Last year, Na Fianna won the Dublin senior hurling championship for the first time. The north Dublin club won back to back Dublin SHC titles for the first time in their club's history.

Brian Ryan impressed in their county final victory where he scored 0-2 from midfield against Kilmacud Crokes. The Mobhi road based club went all the way to the Leinster final last year where they were narrowly defeated by O'Loughlin Gaels.

Na Fianna will be looking to go one step further than last year but their first test in the Leinster senior hurling championship quarter-final will be against Laois county champions Clough Ballacolla this weekend. Niall Ó Ceallacháin is currently in charge of Na Fianna. Ó Ceallacháin will take charge of the Dublin senior hurlers in 2025.

Brian's father Brian has been manager of the Univeristy of Limerick Fitzgibbon Cup team in recent seasons.
