PICTURES: Doon celebrate historic first ever Limerick senior hurling final success

DOON are celebrating an historic first ever Bon Secours Limerick senior hurling championship title following their dramatic 0-16 to 2-9 final victory over Na Piarsaigh at a wet TUS Gaelic Grounds on Sunday evening.

It was Doon's third Limerick senior hurling final appearance in the past seven years.

Photographer Kieran Ryan-Benson was on hand to capture all the colour and excitement from the showpiece final for Leader Sport.

New Limerick champions Doon face a quick return to action as they take on Waterford kingpins Ballygunner in a Munster senior club quarter-final on Sunday next, November 3, at the TUS Gaelic Grounds, 4pm.
