THE Bon Secours Limerick senior hurling championship final between Na Piarsaigh and Doon at the TUS Gaelic Grounds will be televised on TG4 on Sunday at 4:15pm.
Na Piarsaigh are bidding to win three county titles for the first time in the club's history, while are Doon are hoping to win their first county title.
Both Na Piarsaigh and Doon have been the standout teams this year in the senior hurling championship.
Garryspillane and Newcastle West play in premier intermediate hurling final on Sunday at 2pm at the TUS Gaelic Grounds. This game will serve as the curtain raiser to the senior final.
The winner will be promoted to senior hurling for the 2025 season. Newcastle West were beaten in last year's premier intermeediate semi-final and the magpies have went one step further than last year. Garryspillane suffered relegation last year from the senior ranks and the bouncers are looking to make an immediate return.
Na Piarsaigh and Patrickswell was the last game to take place place in the TUS Gaelic Grounds on August 2.
It was reported at a recent Limerick county board meeting that there was some damage done to a section of the pitch at the TUS Gaelic Grounds following the staging of a three-day music festival at the venue in late August.
Limerick County Board made the decision to host games during the club championship in grounds across the county in order to protect the playing surface
