THE finalists have been confirmed in the Limerick senior, premier intermediate, intermediate and junior hurling championships.
Doon and Na Piarsaigh will battle it out in this year's Bon Secours Limerick senior hurling championship final on Sunday, October 27 at the TUS Gaelic Grounds. Doon had too much for Patrickswell's in the first of the semi-finals when they won out 2-24 to 2-12 yesterday afternoon.Kevin Maher impressed scoring 2-2 for the East Limerick side.
In the second semi-final, Na Piarsaigh edged past Kilmallock by the minimum. Will Henn scored the match-winning point to keep the Caherdavin side's hopes of winning three county titles in-a-row alive.
Meanwhile, Garryspillane will face Newcastle West in this year's Lyons of Limerick premier intermediate hurling final on Sunday, October 27 at the TUS Gaelic Grounds. It will be Newcastle West's first time in the final, while Garryspillane will be looking to win the title in order to secure an immediate return to back up to senior ranks.
Meanwhile, Croagh-Kilfinny take on Bruree in this year's intermediate final on Saturday, October 26. Croagh-Kilfinny defeated Feohanagh 3-14 to 0-15. Bruree got the better of Murroe-Boher 1-20 to 1-17 in the other semi-final.
Limerick star Gearoid Hegarty's St Patrick's side has reached this year's junior final. St Patrick's will meet Feenagh-Kilmeedy in the decider in Sean Finn Park, Rathkeale on October 26.
Meanwhile, the draw for the 2025 Munster senior football championship was made on Saturday afternoon. Limerick will face Cork at home in the Munster senior football quarter-final on the weekend of April 6. The winners will take on provincial champions Kerry in the semi-final.
