Wins for Kilmallock, Ballybrown and Monaleen from Friday's Limerick SHC fixtures

KILMALLOCK were the big winners from tonight's Bon Secours Hospital Limerick SHC games after they made it three from three by beating Kildimo-Pallaskenry on a 1-17 to 0-13 scoreline.
Elsewhere in Group 2, Ballybrown and Monaleen had victories over South Liberties and Garryspillane in their respective fixtures.
Shane O'Brien was the star turn for Kilmallock in their seven-point win with the Limerick forward landing 1-4 in an impressive display.
The Balbec were the better side throughout but only led by one at the break after being unable to capitalise on O'Brien's three-pointer.
Kildimo-Pallaskerny were heavily reliant on Shaun Barry throughout from placed balls, while Kyle Hayes and Darren O'Connell chipping in with a point each. That left the score at 1-6 to 0-8 at the break.
Ciarán McMahon levelled the game with the first score of the second half but that was as good as it got for the city division side as Kilmallock dominated after that.
O'Brien fired over another two points from play, while Conor Hanley-Clarke fired over three, one sideline, and two frees to send them beyond catching.
Robbie Hanley also nailed a point on his first appearance of the season. Fintan O'Connor's men also sent over 14 wides. An area they will be sure to work on ahead of next week's clash with Patrickswell.
Elsewhere, Ballybrown remain unbeaten in Group Two following a 5-21 to 2-17 win over South Liberties in Fedamore. Barry Adams fired in 3-2 for Harry Gleeson's side, while Colin Coughlan landed 1-7.
A Barry Nash point set Liberties alive in the opening half of the SHC while Ballybrown struggled to get a score. Nash followed this score with a penalty after 13 minutes putting them well ahead.
Ballydbrown took the first 20 minutes to get into the game and Colin Coughlan got the team going scoring 1-4 from play in the first half. The first half ended with Ballybrown ahead by two-points on a score line of 2-11 to 1-12.
A host of scores from various Ballybrown players got them off to a bright start after the break. Colin Coughlan continued to shine while Barry Adams scored a hat-trick of goals. Liberties struggled to get any possession with scores coming from Ken Byrnes frees with the late scoring burst from Adams sealing the win.
The other game of the night saw Monaleen to a second victory of the championship - seeing off Garryspillane on a 3-21 to 2-12 scoreline in Caherconlish.
Monaleen led 1-14 to 2-5 at the end of the first half with Mark O'Dwyer scoring their goal. The Bouncers had made a stunning start to the contest with two Dylan O'Shea goals but the city side slowly made their way back into the game.
The second half was a more straightforward affair with Donnacha Ó Dálaigh netting a brace for Eoin Brislane's men as they headed towards another victory in the Limerick SHC.
