BRUREE-BASED trainer Enda Bolger sent out Early Doors to win the two mile seven furlong Hunters Chase at Killarney on Monday evening of last week.
The JP McManus-owned 3/1 chance stayed on strongly under Derek O'Connor to prevail by two and a half lengths.
Meanwhile, Shanagolden jockey Chris Hayes struck early at Limerick on Thursday last when guiding the Dermot Weld trained Sara Valentina to an easy four length win in the 6f Fillies Maiden. Carrying the well-known colours of the Moyglare Stud Farm, the 5/2f rewarded strong overnight support.
Ballingarry jockey Billy Lee rode the Andy Oliver trained newcomer Sounds Like A Plan to win the opening five furlong juvenile maiden at Navan on Saturday. Sent off 5/1, the Francis Campbell owned colt led over a furlong out, asserting to win by three lengths.
Lee was back in the winners' enclosure after the Willie McCreery trained 11/1 chance Amazon Lady made most to win the 5f handicap. Carrying the colours of Madeline Burns, the filly stayed on strongly to win by half-a-length.
