Covid-19 booster rolled out to those in Limerick aged 18-49

PEOPLE in Limerick over the age of 18 are now able to receive their second covid-19 booster. 

The vaccination booster has been rolled out to anyone between the age of 18 and 49 with appointments now available to book.

Appointments are available from today through the HSE website with the Limerick clinic situated in Scoil Carmel in the city centre. 

To avail of the booster it must be six months since your previous vaccination or the last time you were infected with covid-19.

There are currently 723 people in hospital in Ireland with coronavirus, with 35 of these in ICU. 

Last week there were 655 people in hospital with the virus across the country.
