Loads of festive treats planned for Limerick Milk Market this Christmas

ONE OF THE most festive events in Limerick is back with plenty of offerings for the whole family. 

Christmas at the Limerick Milk Market will feature festive foods mixed with special once off markets. 

Each Friday and Sunday will see a Christmas Open Air Café  between 11am and 3pm featuring Country Choice Farm Shop and Grill, Bon Appetit Creperie, Harpers Coffee, Greenacres Café and SOS Cookies/Meltie Toasties among many more. 

On Friday, December 9 a special Christmas Transition Year Enterprise Market will be held at the market from 10am to 2pm with students from second level local schools showcasing the latest in student innovation projects.

On Sunday, December 11 the market will host a Christmas vinyl record and CD fair along with their usual stalls featuring crafts, gifts and plenty of good food. 

The following weekend on December 17, Santa will visit the market and the next day will feature an antique, vintage and craft fair.

From 11am to 3pm on Thursday, December 22, you can get involved in a fundraiser for Limerick Suicide Watch with some Christmas tunes and games area. 

The final famous food market will take place on Christmas eve featuring the very best of local Limerick's seasonal offerings. 

Each Saturday will see the famous food market take on a Christmas feel with some festive favourites including artisan Christmas food hampers, minced pies, specialty hot drinks, puddings, Christmas hams and turkeys, chestnuts, brandy butter, Christmas deserts and baked goodies.
