GARDAI are appealing for help in locating a car which they believe was used in a theft incident in County Limerick.
An investigation is underway after a number of tools were stolen from a van which was parked at Dromard, Rathkeale last week.
The silver Vauxhall Vivaro van was targeted between 3.50am and 4.05am last Thursday morning, November 24.
"The van was broken into and a number of expensive tools were stolen including a Bosch hammer drill, a De Walt angle grinder, 50mm drill bits and a Makita Kango drill. We believe that a silver Toyota Avensis was linked with this crime," said Garda John Finnerty.
"If you seen this silver Toyota Avensis or have any other information about this crime, then please contact the gardai at Rathkeale at 069 63222," he added.
Separately, information is being sought after two spot lights were stolen from the front of a white ford transit van which was parked in Limerick city.
"This was a rental van that had been parked at the car park at the Raheen roundabout from 11pm on Tuesday, November 22 to midday on the following day," said Garda Finnerty.
"This is a fairly busy area with many people coming and going. If you did come across any suspicious activity in this area, then we would like to hear from you. Please contact the gardai at Roxboro Road," he added.
Roxboro Road garda station can be contacted at (061) 214340.
