HURLING superstar Joe Canning and wife Megan Hoare officially tied the knot in a stunning Limerick wedding.

The newly wed couple became husband and wife at a small ceremony attended by family and friends in Monaleen Church, in County Limerick.

The 2017 All-Ireland winning hurler, who announced his retirement from inter-county hurling last year, is a co-owner of Camille Thai Limerick, located in the Parkway Retail Park in Limerick city.

His wife Megan Hoare's family run and own the Kilmurry Lodge Hotel in Castletroy, Limerick.

Social media influencer Aimee Connolly was one of the few who offered a glimpse into the very private wedding, with her stories showing a very dapper Canning and beautiful bridge Meg enjoying time with family and friends.

Her fiancée John lined out as the best man to the LIT graduate Canning on their big day this Friday, November 25, with the two men dressed in dapper black suits and classic black ties.

"Congrats Joe and Meg. What an unreal day yesterday and such an early night too," Aimee wrote online, thanking the bride and groom for a great day in County Limerick.
