Vincent Cunnane, president of LIT: "Every student should have the best possible chance to excel in these subjects if they so wish"
AHEAD of the exams this June, Leaving Cert students are invited to take part in free maths revision seminars.
The workshops, aimed at helping students reach their full potential, take place at 7pm to 9pm at the Limerick Institute of Technology (LIT) Moylish campus on Tuesday May 14 and Wednesday May 15.
“We at LIT maintain that these subjects open up students to a range of exciting careers, and believe every student should have the best possible chance to excel in these subjects if they so wish,” LIT president Dr Vincent Cunnane said.
The first free workshop will focus on calculus from the Higher Level Maths curriculum.
The second workshop concentrates on ordinary level mathematics and focus on algebra.
Pre-booking is essential for both workshops, as places are limited.
