Deaths in Limerick - April 1, 2019

The death has occurred of Kathleen Casey (née Harty) of Clonlong, Southill, Limerick. Mother of the late Paddy, Paul and Ann. Deeply regretted by her husband Terence, sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, all other relatives and friends. 

Reposing Tuesday at Cross's Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street from 3.00pm to 5.00pm followed by removal to the Holy Family Church, Southill. Requiem Mass Wednesday at 11.00am with funeral afterwards to Mt St Oliver Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) English of Coolnamona, Doon, Limerick. Paddy passed peacefully at home, Patrick (Paddy), predeceased by his bother Dick; sadly missed by his loving wife Marian (nee Fitzgibbon), daughter Lisa, son Richie, sisters Therese (Brennan) and Mary (O’Dwyer), brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt Sr. Elizabeth (Australia), nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at White's Funeral Home, Doon Tuesday evening (2nd April) from 5.30pm with removal at 8pm to Doon Parish Church. Requiem Mass Wednesday at 11.30am and burial afterwards in Doon Cemetery. House private please. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to MS Ireland.

 

The death has occurred of Margaret Gunning (née O' Connor) of Georgian Village, Old Cork Rd, Limerick City, Limerick / Broadford, Clare. Predeceased by her husband Michael. Deeply missed by her loving family daughter Breada, son PJ, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Mc Mahon’s Funeral Home Blackwater this Wednesday evening (April 3) from 6pm to 7:30pm followed by removal to Kilbane Church. Funeral mass Thursday (April 4) at 11am followed by burial afterwards in the Church grounds.

The death has occurred of William Mc Kiniry of Lenihan Avenue, Prospect, Limerick City, Limerick. Late of the E.S.B., Hyde Rangers and Limerick A.F.C. William, passed away (peacefully) at the Good Council Nursing Home. Pre deceased by his brothers Pat and Tommy. Very deeply regretted by his brother Charlie, sister-in-law Linda, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Reposing at Cross' Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Wednesday (April 3) from 5pm followed by removal at 6pm to St. Joseph's Church, O'Connell Avenue. Requiem Mass Thursday (April 4) at 11.30am with funeral afterwards to Mount St. Lawrence (old) Cemetery.

 

The death has occurred of Bridget (Bawnie) Neville (née Nash) of Inis Cluainn, Castleconnell, Limerick. Formerly of Rhebogue, Dublin Road, Limerick. Bridget (Bawnie) passed away (unexpectedly) at University Hospital, Limerick. Very deeply regretted by her loving husband Thomas, daughter Barbara Lawlor, sons Paul and John, grandchildren, son-in-law Brian Lawlor, the extended Nash and Neville families and large circle of friends.

Reposing at Cross' Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Thursday (April 4) from 5pm followed by removal at 6.30pm to St. John's Cathedral. Requiem Mass Friday (April 5) at 11am followed by Cremation Service at Shannon Crematorium.

 

The death has occurred of Noel Noonan of Inniscarra, Fort Mary Park, North Circular Road, Limerick. Noel passed peacefully at Milford Care Centre. Beloved husband of the late Denise. Dearly loved father of Ciara and Brian. Beloved son of Nora and the late Noel. Dear brother of Sharon, Deirdre and Emily Jane. Sadly missed by his partner and friend Bernie (Keating), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, godchildren, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Tuesday evening from 5.30pm to 7pm followed by removal to St Joseph’s Church, O’Connell Avenue. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11.30 with burial afterwards in Crecora Cemetery.
