Delays in Limerick after crash

LONG delays have been reported in Limerick after a crash in the Ballysimon Road.

Traffic is delayed northbound on the M7 Limerick to Dublin Road. It was closed for a time, but has since re-opened.

Emergency services have been at the scene of the collision.

AA Roadwatch are reporting long delays, however, with traffic backed up between junction 29 at Ballysimon and junction 30 at Rosbrien.

As a consequence of this, traffic is quite slow at the Ballysimon Road, as well as on the Dublin Road from O’Briens Park out towards the University of Limerick.

It remains very slow existing UL onto the Plassey Park Road which itself is slow both ways.

Elsewhere, Corbally Road has outbound delays from Athlunkard Bridge out to the Mill Road junction.
