‘Scissor Sister’ killer moved to Limerick Prison over sexual tryst with female officer

Charlotte Mulhall who is currently serving a mandatory life sentence

‘SCISSOR Sister’ killer Charlotte Mulhall has been transferred to Limerick Prison after she was caught having sex with a female prison officer in her prison cell.

Ms Mulhall, who is currently serving a life sentence for one of the State’s most violent murders, was transferred to the Limerick jail on Christmas Eve after the pair were discovered in her cell at the Dóchas Centre, Dublin.

The pair were discovered together in a state of undress in Ms Mulhall’s jail cell on December 22.

Following her transfer, Ms Mulhall is expected to stay at Limerick Prison for a number of months.

Ms Mulhall and her sister Linda were found guilty of killing and dismembering their mother's boyfriend Farah Swaleh Noor in 2005.

After they stabbed Mr Swaleh Noor up to 20 times, the sisters dismembered his body and attempted to dispose of parts in the Royal Canal.

Their mother Linda also served a five year jail sentence for her part in cleaning up the murder scene.

The prison officer in question could now face dismissal and Ms Mulhall could also face disciplinary action, the Irish Independent reports.

A spokesperson for the Irish Prison Service said: “The Irish Prison Service doesn’t not comment on individuals or cases.”
