Gardai at scene of County Limerick crash causing delays on N21

THERE are delays in County Limerick this Tuesday morning after a crash.

Gardai are dealing with a collision on the Newcastle West to Kilmallock Road (R520), according to AA Roadwatch, around 5km outside Newcastle West near the Ballingarry turn-off.

It is understood to be a crash between a car and a truck at Ballynoe Cross. The fire service has left the scene and it is not serious.

There are northbound delays on the N21 through Adare as a result.

There are also reports of a collision on the N24 near Oola. Traffic is busy in the area, according to AA Roadwatch.

Elsewhere it is slow on the Ballysimon Road from the M7 to the Tipperary roundabout, while delays are easing on the Kilmallock Road inbound towards the Childers Road.

The N69 westbound is moving well now approaching the N18, according to AA Roadwatch, while delays are improving heading towards the city from Shannon Banks on the Corbally Rd through to Athlunkard St and also nearby from Parteen into Ballynanty.
