Two weather warnings remain in effect for Limerick this Tuesday

TWO weather warnings remain in effect for Limerick this Tuesday.

It comes as a large amount of rain fell overnight in Limerick on Monday and this Tuesday morning, with strong gusts also overnight.

Met Eireann issued separate Status Yellow wind and rainfall warnings for Munster on Monday.

The rainfall warning for Munster, Dublin, Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Galway and Mayo remains in effect until 2pm this Tuesday, with 20-30mm  expected to fall over a short period, leading to some surface flooding.

The Status Yellow wind warning for Munster, Dublin, Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo remains in effect until 3pm this Tuesday, with mean speeds of 55-65 km/h with gusts from 90-110 km/h expected. 

Winds strongest along exposed coasts, where a few higher gusts are possible.
