The Enterprise Town exhibition will return to Newcastle West for the third year in a row
THE Enterprise Town exhibition will return to Newcastle West for the third year in a row later this month when RTE and Rose of Tralee presenter Daithí O’Sé will bring a lively mix of chat, banter and colour to the event.
An initiative of Bank of Ireland, the local organisers are urging local businesses, schools, organisations and clubs to come forward and take part.
“This is really about showcasing all that is positive in Newcastle West and the surrounding area,” Yvonne Meredith, assistant manager of Bank of Ireland, Newcastle West, said this week.
The past, two Enterprise Town events have been a great success, she added. “There is a great benefit for the businesses for the community groups that take part. It is a chance to see for yourself all that is happening in the area.”
“Essentially we want to showcase what the area has to offer, and provide exhibitors and attendees with an opportunity to network and connect free of charge,” Ms Meredith said. “We want to ensure everyone can get involved and be part of the positive experience that is an Enterprise Town.”
This year’s event will again be for one night only, Friday, November 16 from 6.30pm to 9pm. Exhibitors are asked to book in advance but there is no charge for exhibition space and the event itself is open and free to all.
There will be free entertainment throughout the evening. Daithí O’Sé is expected to be a big attraction on the night. “Daithí has the gift of the gab,” Ms Meredith said.
