A young man has died and two others have been taken to UHL following a crash this Sunday morning
A YOUNG man has died and two others have been taken to University Hospital Limerick with serious injuries following a fatal road traffic collision this Easter Sunday.
The single vehicle road traffic accident occurred at Woodstock, Ennis in the early hours this Sunday morning.
The road remains closed while a technical examination is being carried out.

“At approximately 4.20 am a male passenger, 18 years, was fatally injured when the car he was in, hit a wall,” a Garda spokesperson said.
“The driver and passenger, both males 19 and 21 year, were seriously injured and have been removed to University Hospital Limerick.”
“The road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by the Garda forensic collision investigators, who are en route. Local diversions are in place.”
Gardaí are appealing to any persons or motorists who may have witnessed the collision to contact them at Ennis Garda Station on 065 - 6848100, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
