Guilty plea over Limerick drugs haul

A PROBATION report is to be prepared in the case of a man who has admitted having a significant quantity of drugs for the purpose of sale of supply in Limerick.

Patrick McCarthy, aged 28, of the Commons, Castleconnell had pleaded guilty to charges relating to the discovery of cannabis at his home on November 7, 2016.

The drugs had a street value of almost €7,000.

After noting the guilty plea, Judge Tom O’Donnell adjourned the matter to March 21, for sentence.
