Maria Kelly, branch manager of the Bank of Ireland Limerick
A SERIES of events are taking place this week at the Bank of Ireland’s main branch in Limerick city to mark National Enterprise Week.
The lender’s branch at 125 O’Connell Street will be a hub of activity with several seminars taking place for small to medium sized firms whose owners have a specific interest in growing their company.
The keynote event here takes place next Thursday, November 23, a panel discussion at the Bank of Ireland workbench facility. Moderated by Conall O Morain, there will be speakers from start-up firms Action Point, Redfaire and WP Engine who will discuss their experience and challenges in business and that ‘breakthrough moment’.
Former Chamber chief executive, now Bank of Ireland branch manager Maria Kelly said: “Bank of Ireland’s National Enterprise Week programme aims to help small to medium sized businesses throughout the country grow their opportunities.
"That ‘breakthrough moment’ is often discussed by successful entrepreneurs and our event has been specifically designed to bring together experts who can deliver valuable information and forecast trends to drive further development for SMEs. Businesses will also have the chance to connect with other like-minded entrepreneurs and showcase their products and services.”
Although it’s free to attend, it is recommended people book in advance. Call 061-415055 for more.
