Recent deaths in Tipperary. 9-11-16

 

The late Michael Morrissey

The death has occurred of Michael Morrissey, Glenagad Drive, Clonmel, peacefully on 7th November 2016 at South Tipperary Hospital. Beloved husband of Joan & much loved father of Paul, Ed, Siobhán, Michael and Clare. Sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughters, brother Jim, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, his doting grandchildren, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and his many friends.

Reposing at O’Donoghue’s Funeral Home, Kickham Street, Clonmel on Wednesday evening from 5pm with removal at 8pm to S.S. Peter and Paul’s Church. Requiem Mass at 1pm on Thursday. Burial immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Motor Neurone Disease Association.

 

The late Mary McGrath

The death has occurred of Mary McGrath (née O'Shea), Dean Ryan Terrace, Cashel, on November 7th 2016, peacefully at St. Teresa’s Nursing Home, in her 102nd year, beloved wife of the late Joe and mother of the late Jimmy. Deeply regretted by her loving family Julie, Michael, Betty, Kitty, Noelette, Tommy and Joseph, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

 Reposing at Devitt’s Funeral Parlour on Wednesday evening, from 5.30pm with Removal at 7.30pm to St. John the Baptist Church, Cashel. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 10.30am followed by Burial in Cormac’s Cemetery.

 

The late Pat O'Meara

The death has occurred of Pat (Titch) O'Meara, Greenane Drive and late of Arravale Terrace, Tipperary Town, on November 6th, 2016. Sadly missed by his loving family, wife Geraldine, daughters Laura and Mary and their mother Fiona, sister Joan, brothers John and Tom, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

 Reposing at Whelan's Funeral Home, Bansha Road, Tipperary on Thursday evening, from 5.30pm with Removal at 7pm to St. Michael's Church, Tipperary. Requiem Mass on Friday at 10.30am and funeral afterwards to St. Michael's Cemetery, Tipperary.

The late John Walsh

The death has occurred of John Walsh, Ballintaggart, Callan, Kilkenny, and  Ballingarry (SR), Tipperary, on 7th November 2016, peacefully at Aut Even Hospital, Kilkenny after a long illness bravely borne. Beloved husband of Eilish, a loving father to Patrick, Julie and Sean. He will be sadly missed by his family, daughters-in-law Ann and Ellen, son-in-law Steve, grandchildren Aoibhe, Emily, Philip, Mia and Alex, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 Reposing at his residence on Wednesday, 9th November, with Funeral Prayers at 6.00pm followed by removal at 6.30pm to The Church of the Assumption, Ballingarry, Thurles, Co. Tipperary. Requiem Mass on Thursday morning at 11.30am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

 Family Flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to The National Council for the Blind of Ireland. 

 

The late Philomena Cotter

The death has occurred of Philomena Cotter (née Quinn), Howth Road, Dublin 5, formerly of Farranderry, Templemore, and late of Eircom and GPO, on November 7th 2016, in the exceptional care of all the staff of the Beech Ward, Connolly Hospital, loving and beloved wife of the late Dan, dear mother of Mary and Jim and Nan-Philly to Ellen, Tom and Norah; deeply regretted by her loving daughter, son, son-in-law, Paul (Newman) daughter-in-law Claire (Holland) grandchildren, brothers Mick and Frank, extended family and friends.

Reposing at her home on Thursday from 6pm to 8pm. Removal on Friday to the Church of Our Lady Mother of Divine Grace, Raheny arriving at 9.45 o'clock for Mass at 10 o'clock. Funeral afterwards to Fingal Cemetery. No flowers by request, donations in lieu to St. Vincent de Paul Society.

The late Eileen O'Connor

The death has occurred of Eileen O'Connor (née QUIGLEY), Nenagh Manor Nursing Home and late of Quigleys Bakery, Kenyon Street, Nenagh, peacefully at Nenagh Manor Home on November 7, 2016. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jim and son David. Sadly missed by her loving daughters Rosemary and Patricia and her son John, her sister Rita, sons-in-law Paul and Rory, Brother in law Tom, grandchildren Jenny, David, Rory, Jack also John, Peter, Niamh, Gillian and their mother Margaret, by John's partner Alison, nephews and nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Ryan's Funeral Home, Nenagh, Wednesday, from 5.30 o'c with removal at 7.30 o'c to arrive to St.Mary's of the Rosary Church, Nenagh at 8 o,c. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12 o'c followed by burial in Lisboney new Cemetery.

 

The late Kathleen Feehan

The death has occurred of Kathleen (Kit) Feehan (née Shanahan), Hillsborough Mill, Roscrea.

Deeply regretted by her son John, daughters Patricia, Catherine, Theresa, Martina & Nuala, sisters Maura & Tess, brother Jimmy, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours & friends. 

Reposing in Mahers Funeral Home, Roscrea on Friday evening from 4.00 with removal at 6.30 arriving in St. Cronan's Church, Roscrea at 7.00. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12.00 followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
