JUST 10 weeks after giving birth, Limerick woman Eva Hayes Morrissey donned her gladrags to win the Most Stylish Lady prize at the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby at the Curragh Racecourse.

No stranger to Best Dressed competitions, Eva previously won the Sunway Holidays Most Stylish Lady Competition at Limerick Racecourse in 2013, and has been a finalist in many other events.

But she was a ‘winner alright’ at the Curragh, and she said it was a special moment of celebration as it was the first family outing with her husband since the birth of their first child, Tristan.

“I bought the dress when I was eight months pregnant and only tried it on this morning,” said the ecstatic winner, adding that the dress was her incentive to lose weight so quickly after giving birth.

“I pulled up the zip and just hoped for the best,” she joked.

“I’m thrilled to be chosen. I’m already planning my trip to Dubai. It’s such an incredible prize and I’m very grateful to the Judges for choosing me.”

Eva was wearing a €425 cream dress from Cork boutique Phoenix V, shoes by Carvella, hat by Irish milliner Carol Kennelly and a clutch bag by Glitzi Bitz.

She was chosen as the overall winner by a judging panel led by singer and TV presenter Rachel Stevens.

Eva will now be treated to a stay at the five-star Jumeirah Creekside hotel, and given €1,000 to spend.

Also included in the prize is an elegant Boodles diamond pendant and an overnight stay at the Marker Hotel in Dublin, in addition to a luxury Ladurée hamper which includes an afternoon tea for two at their flagship store and a Jennifer Wrynne boutique voucher worth €500.

The four runners’ up also received luxury goodie bags containing spa vouchers for The Marker Hotel and a Ladurée voucher for champagne afternoon tea.
