A LIMERICK nurse killed in a hit-and-run collision on her way to work on Friday night will be laid to rest on Wednesday.
The death notice of Áine O’Reilly, aged 33, of Grove House, Pallasgreen says that she died tragically following a road traffic accident on February 13, 2026.
One of the drivers, involved in the three-car collision shortly after 11pm on the N24 near Grange West, Boher, fled the scene.
Ms O’Reilly was pronounced dead at the scene while another driver, a man aged in his 40s, was taken to University Hospital Limerick with non-life threatening injuries.
Ms O’Reilly will repose at Ryan & Whites Funeral Home, Pallasgreen (V94 VYH6) on Tuesday evening, February 17 from 5pm until 7pm.

Ms O’Reilly is sadly missed by her heartbroken parents Eugene and Ann, brothers Eoin, James and Conor, sister-in-law Aisling, nephew Dáire, aunts, uncles, relatives and a wide circle of friends.
