MEMBERS of the public are being invited to make submissions on a proposed residential development at Ros Mor, Crossagalla, on the Kilmallock Road in Limerick city.
The public consultation process is now open and will run until February 4, 2026. Limerick City and County Council has issued a notice outlining plans for the construction of 13 new residential units across two sites.
The proposed development includes eight two-bedroom houses, four one-bedroom apartments, and one detached three-bedroom house.

The plans also provide for varied boundary treatments, landscaping works, and all ancillary site development works and services required to facilitate the new homes.
Screening reports have confirmed that the project is unlikely to have significant environmental effects. Accordingly, neither a full Environmental Impact Assessment nor a full Appropriate Assessment is required.
Members of the public also have the right, within four weeks of the notice’s publication, to apply to An Coimisiún Pleanála for a screening determination on environmental effects.
Plans and supporting documentation are available for inspection at Limerick City and County Council. Submissions or observations must be made by February 4, 2026, to ensure they are considered before a decision is taken on the proposed development.
