Iconic American singer to bring her most intimate show of 2026 to Limerick

AMERICAN singer and the voice of a generation, Patti Smith, will bring her most intimate show of 2026 to Limerick. 

Dolans with Foggy Notions have announced that the Patti Smith Quartet will have their debut show in King John's Castle next July.

Patti Smith is the voice behind Because the Night, People Have the Power and Gone Again, among countless more hits. 

The four-time Grammy nominee was born in Chicago and raised in South Jersey. 

She moved to New York in 1967 and became a huge part of the growing arts scene. 

Patti Smith was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007. 

She will perform in King John's Castle on Tuesday, July 14 and tickets are on sale this Friday (December 12) at 10am from dolans.ie.
