Thousands without power on Limerick-Cork border

ESB apologises for the loss of supply

Almost 800 ESB customers without power in Gaoth Dobhair this morning

THOUSANDS of businesses and homeowners are without power this Thursday afternoon.

Over 3,000 customers in Charleville and into south Limerick have been affected.

The estimated restore time is 3.45pm.

ESB apologises for the loss of supply, say they are currently working to repair the faults and will restore power as quickly as possible.

ESB warn fallen electricity wires are live and dangerous and "never approach or touch them".
