Appeal for witnesses to stabbing in Limerick City

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward

GARDAÍ in Henry Street garda station are looking for any witnesses to an assault in Limerick City to come forward with any information. 

Crime prevention officer, Sergeant Ber Leetch said that on Sunday, September 1, at around 1.20am, a man in his late twenties was stabbed a number of times.

It happened on Newenham Street. 

“A large crowd gathered and Gardaí are appealing to any witnesses to this assault to contact them at Henry Street on 061 212400,” she told Limerick Live.
