GARDAÍ have confirmed that they attended an incident in Moyross over the bank holiday weekend, after videos showing scenes of a violent nature were circulated online.

An incident, which was recorded and shared widely via WhatsApp, showed people fighting on a street, with crowds of onlookers nearby. 

Other videos, also shared online, showed damage to the interior of a recently-built property.

The damage included smashed furniture in a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. 

In a statement to Limerick Live, gardaí said: “Gardaí attended the scene of an incident. No offences disclosed.”

It is unclear if gardaí will be pursuing further investigations.
