Luxury Limerick resort voted number one in Ireland for countryside getaway

Adare Manor

THE BEST countryside getaways in Ireland have been revealed, with one luxury Limerick spot taking the crown.

Adare Manor took top spot in the country, as per research done by Betway.

The award-winning destination owned by JP McManus sits on 840 acres and with its  top-rated spa, Michelin-star restaurant and five-star golf course.

There's a wide choice of rooms to pick from too. The Dunraven Suites are located in the Manor House and were once the private apartments of the Earls of Dunraven.

Guests could also opt for their Signature Suites, which come with their own private Manor Butler.

The venue has been handpicked for the 2027 Ryder Cup and will see thousands of golf fans from around the world flock to the renowned county Limerick resort.

In second place in Betway’s survey was the Newpark Hotel in Kilkenny and in third place was Cliff at Lyons in Kildare.

The results were based on popularity by a unique index score - generated by the number of hashtags each location has racked up on Instagram, as well as Google and Tripadvisor reviews.

The lower the overall index score, the higher the ranking.
