Sardines in lost and found
I'M sure we've all done it - forgotten the car keys, a wallet, bank card, a jacket, a child's toy or a keep cup somewhere.
The lost and found bin at Limerick City Library has certainly seen its fair share of run of the mill lost items, along with teddy bears, glasses and other small personal items.
The City Library Lost and Found box is home to many things left behind by our readers – usually bookmarks, glasses, keys and jackets. But this tin of sardines was a first for us. We are open today until 5pm if they are yours!#YourCouncilDay pic.twitter.com/ygZbc9ktu5

Today, however, they found something a bit more unusual.
They found a tin of sardines...so if you usually rely on this snack to give you the brain power to read - your precious sardines are being kept safe and sound in the lost and found in the city library.
