Late night criminal damage incident in Limerick town

A pane of glass in a door was smashed in the incident in Kilmallock

A WINDOW and a pane of glass in a door of a home in Kilmallock were smashed by vandals late on Friday night.

The frightening incident for the homeowners and neighbours occurred at a property on Emmet Street at around 11.45pm. It is understood the occupants of the house were away on Friday night.

A garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí are making enquiries into a criminal damage incident at a property in Kilmallock, Co. Limerick which occurred on Friday night, June 14, 2024."

One local told Limerick Live that gardai attended the scene on Friday and Saturday.

"They took photos and details. They were asking for witnesses and told residents they will be harvesting CCTV," they said.
