Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward

GARDAÍ in Croom are appealing for witnesses to a hit and run incident on Saturday, June 1.

A woman’s car was parked on High Street in Croom when it was struck by another car, which left the scene.

It happened sometime between 8pm and 11pm.

Gardaí believe that there may be some connection between the incident and a silver BMW with a partial registration of 08-LK, which was abandoned outside Storan’s pub on High Street.

Any motorists with dash cam footage or witnesses who saw the incident are asked to contact Newcastle West garda station on 069 20650 and the gardaí also want to speak to the owner of the silver BMW.
