Ciarán Cronin and Stuart Kennedy, Matheson partner
A UNIVERSITY of Limerick (UL) student has secured a prestigious scholarship with top law firm Matheson.
Ciaran Cronin from Kilmallock has been named as winner of the 2024 Matheson Scholarship in Law Plus.
It's being presented in association with University of Limerick.
The scholarship was launched in 2022 as part of UL’s 50ForFifty initiative, a celebration of the university’s first 50 years.
The annual scholarship is open to first year undergraduate bachelor of laws (law plus) students in UL.
Mr Cronin will receive a bursary of €5,000 for the academic year and a position on Matheson’s First Step programme, a dedicated scheme for undergraduate students.
